The return of the blogger

Good Evening everyone! I have not been keeping up with Vasculus as much as I should be. I have recently begun working with MCI Inspections on their website. That combined with my usual work, I have not had as much free time. However, I do plan on at least updating the site more often. This week I have been looking into the wonders of HTML5. As many of you know, there is a battle going on between the major technology companies. The three main technologies being HTML5 (Google), Silverlight (Microsoft), and Flash (Adobe). Each have their pros and cons. I really like where HTML5 is headed, so I thought I would look into it.

This is what I have done so far: Craps. This may not look like much, but this is built upon the new technologies of the web. Right now this only works in a few of the newer browsers. So if you cannot see anything, I’d suggest getting Chrome. What makes this special is that this game was built in pure HTML and Javascript. Before it would have to have been built using a third-party plugin such as Flash or Silverlight. Now, with the addition of canvas into the HTML language, the language has become open to many more possibilities. Let me know what everyone thinks.

Today I leave you with a quote from Albert Einstein:
“If the facts don’t fit the theory, change the facts.”
